NIO ET9 ends the 3. Winter Test round and the deliveries that can start this month

• The ET9 entered the last preparatory phases before delivery, since production cars are shipped to the NIO shops in China.
• NIO started the ET9 project in 2019 and mule car deliveries were realized in October 2022.

NIO (NYSE: NIO) has completed the latest round of the winter tests for its flagship sedan from the Executive, the ET9. First deliveries of the model that begins later this month.

The ET9 officially completed its third round of the winter examination and recording and entered the last preparation phases before delivery, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker said today.

The model will be open to test drives and the deliveries will begin at the end of March, said Nio and repeated a previously mentioned timeline.

NIO presented the ET9 and began to accept pre -orders at the NIO Day 2023 in December 2023 in order to be dominated in the luxurious market for luxurious limousines dominated by foreign brands such as Mercedes Maybach.

On the NIO Day 2024 on December 21, 2024, the ET9 was officially launched with a starting price of 788,000 RMB ($ 108,230) including the battery.

NIO today shared a video of the latest winter tests of the ET9 in its mobile app and divided a timeline from the birth of the model.

In 2019, NIO started the ET9 project.

In October 2022, NIO realized mule deliveries and began with tests of the ET9 in the real world, the first model of the industry with SBW technology (steer-by-wire) and completely active suspension functions.

From January to March 2023, the ET9 was subjected to its first winter tests and completed its first street performance test with low traction.

In May 2023, ET9 completed the first durability test of the SBW system in China.

In Juni-September 2023, ET9 completed a high-traction test, a summer performance test and the first round of the durability test of the chassis structure.

In December 23, 2023, ET9 was officially presented on the NIO Day 2023.

In January 2024, ET9 completed its first venet thirst test.

At the beginning of 2024 to September 2024, ET9 completed the second round of winter tests, tests of plateau validation, street tests with high traction and summer tests.
