I-87 Traffic stop leads to a large drug confiscation, arrest of 2: nysp

Town von Ramapo, NY-MAGES Fatally illegal drugs are thanks to an I-87 traffic stops outside the street.

The New York state police said that the soldiers from Tarrytown, who took part in the detail of the violent crime on Rockland County, arrested two men on the I-87 in Ramapo to have “a large amount” of narcotics on purpose.

Around 8:26 p.m., the soldiers stopped a Honda pilot from 2019 on the Thruway. They identified the driver as the 57-year-old Robert Morales from Rensselaer and his passenger as a 51-year-old Irving Prado from the Bronx.

As soon as an investigation has been started, K-9 Odin alarmed the police over the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, the state police confiscated around 48.5 grams of fentanyl and 56 grams of crack cocaine.

Morales and Prado were arrested and due to two crime possession of a controlled substance third degree, the possession of anesthetic drug weight ½ ounces or more. And criminal offense of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance to sell the intention.

Both men were charged with Clarkstown Town Court and recorded in the Rockland County prison. They are supposed to reappear at Ramapo Town Court on Tuesday.
