Cheyenne, Wyo. – According to the National Weather Service Station in Cheyenne, Cheyenne may look at new snow accumulation in the range of three to five inches in just the next 24 hours.

This comes when the community is laid under a winter weather watch and a high wind clock from late tonight to the entire Tuesday. During this time, according to the NWS in the area, very strong winds should blow, a lot of precipitation and stained snow.

Before that, today remains relatively mild and similar to the warmer days that the area has enjoyed recently. Today's high of 54 degrees is the best that Cheyenne gets until next Sunday when the universities resume 56.

Despite the winter weather watch, which ends late Tuesday, the rest of the week also brings more opportunities for precipitation people. The NWS essentially predict the whole week particularly late on Wednesday and all day Thursday and Friday.

Cheyenne adjacent areas west of the city and embedded in the eastern front of the Laramie area should expect similar conditions.
