Which Florida Panthers player was best wore

Seth Jones I will wear No. 3 again and do so with the Florida Panthers after the blockbuster trade on Saturday.

Sometimes it is a problem when players are traded as a free agent to a new team or as a free agent.

That was the case with Jones in Chicago.

No. 3 belonged to the Hockey Hall of Famer Pierre Pilote And was retired by the Blackhawks.

So Jones No. 4, The number he wore before the junior hockey.

According to Florida Panthers' game notes for today's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning – and the team's official website – Jones returned to number 3 he was wearing in the junior.

Jones also wore number 3 with the Nashville Predators after being the fourth election in 2013, and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Panthers acquired Jones and a design selection in the fourth round from the Blackhawks in exchange for Spencer Knight And a first on Saturday evening.

So how we would like to do it in front of the training camp, if new players have assigned their new numbers with the Panthers, we ask: Who did it best?

There are not many players who have worn the story of Florida Panthers No. 3.

Jones is only the eighth to do it in the 31 years of the team.

However, there were some big names to bear No. 3.

Florida Panthers' new game: Those who wore it first, preferably, best, best,

The first to do it was Paul Laus – An original member of the Panthers who never shy away from a fight.

In the end, Laus was at the Panthers for all nine of his NHL season.

It served as the captain of the team and holds the franchise record for most minute walks (1,702).

It is a record that is almost certainly never broken. Only Peter Worrell Has over 1,000 PIM (1,375) in the team history.

The best to do it was Ironman Keith YandleA sociable guy who signed the Panthers in 2016 and took third place on the franchise list for points (231) of a defender.

The last to do it was Matt KierstedWho went back to the number before trading on Saturday.

Kiersted, who signed a free agent contract with Florida from North Dakota in 2021, played for the Panthers in 37 games.

He is currently playing with Ahl Charlotte.

If Kiersted came back and play for the Panthers, his number will not wait for him.

Perhaps he will wear No. 8 again, what he was wearing when Yandle had No. 3.

That is still available.

At the moment.
