Argument led to fatal shootings in the parking lot of Hollywood Food Mart

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge police authority arrested a man in connection with a fatal shootout that took place at the weekend.

Jermaine Jones, 52, was arrested and instructed in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for homicide in East Baton Rouge.

The shootout occurred around 7:07 p.m. in the 5500 block of the McClelland Drive.

According to the BRPD, Jones Kedreon Robinson, 23, shot near Hollywood Street after a verbal argument in the Hollywood Food parking lot. Robinson died at the scene.

The police said Jones had a story of arrest for illegal possession of stolen things.
