Steve Martin and Martin Short announce new tour dates from Connecticut

Comedians, alumni “Saturday Night Live” and “The only murders in the building”, the actors Steve Martin and Martin Short, will later return to Connecticut this year.

On Monday, the duo announced a new stop of her “The Dukes of Funnytown!” The tour that will take place on Friday, December 5th in the Toyota Oakdale Theater in Wallingford.

The Bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers and the jazz pianist Jeff Babko, The Post, are accompanied to the “Two Titans of Comedy”.

They performed in the Toyota Oakdale Theater in 2015. In the week before the show, Short the New Haven Register announced that his chemistry with Martin was bound by joint appearances that they are close friends in real life.

“I think what the audience gets is a feeling of both of us, together,” said Short. “And if you feel that you actually see two people who really have fun and happy that they are there, I think … they become very aware of it and enjoy it more than any joke.”

Martin and Short met for the first time as leads in the film Classic “Three Amigos” from 1986, but the idea of ​​touring together was over a decade ago when the two performed together at the Just for Laugh's Comedy Festival in Chicago.
