The Florida couple allegedly forced the airport safety and throws the coffee in the face of the employee

A man and a woman from Florida were arrested because they allegedly forced themselves through the airport safety at Miami International Airport – and one of them threw a coffee in the face of an employee.

The sheriff office of the Sheriff of Miami-Dade County informed People Rafael Seirafe-Novaes, and Beatriz Rapoport de Campos Maia apparently came to Mexico on Sunday morning.

According to the media outlet, they tried to drive the plane to drive themselves through security.

The consequences of the incident were caught in front of the camera and the film material circulated on social media.

The video that was shared on X seems to show several officers who are trying to hold back Seirafe-Novaes, and another employee packed Rapoport de Campos Maias arm before sitting on a chair.

Another clip shows that Seirafe-Novaes is led out of the scene in two handcuffs before it is placed in the back of a cop car.

“From now on you will be on the road with the greyhound,” wrote one person in response to the video.

“Guy had enough time to get a coffee, but not to be on time on his goal … the feeling of justification is real,” added another.

Others seemed to defend the couple.

“You close this door earlier and earlier. On my flight in December, the plane door was closed and closed 20 minutes before the start,” wrote one person.

“There is another video that shows that they were at the gate while other people are still increasing. So I don't think they were actually too late,” added another.

Seirafe-Novae fought with a goal attendant, with one of the suspicious coffee threw on someone. The police were then called and he and Rapoport de Campos Maia were taken into custody.

Seirafe-Novaes and Rapoport de Campos Maia were charged with warnings due to two cases of battery and the takeover of real estate, while Seirafe-Novaes was also charged with resistance to arrest and booking of records.

The coffee employee was reportedly an American Airlines employee. The airline informed people that the flight was delayed by about 10 minutes due to the disorder.

“Before joining American Airlines flight 2494 from Miami (Mia) to Cancun (CUN), law enforcement responded to the goal for two disturbing customers,” said American Airlines in a statement to People. “Airlines are not tolerated by American Airlines and we are obliged to work closely with the law enforcement authorities in their investigation.”
