Bodycam released after shooting in the Houston Apartment Complex

The video shows how the police inspect an apartment, two people who try to flee, and a change of shooting.

Houston-the camera was released on Monday after a shootout between police officers and two teenagers was accused of one of these teenagers.

Note: The video above comes from an earlier report.

According to HPD deputy boss J. Skelton, the police were first called up at the apartment complex at the 8360 Park Place near the Galveston Road on February 1st.

According to Skelton, the apartment management learned that the suspects, a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, who was later identified as Alexi Otoniel Martinez, was identified in a free apartment.

Officials who answered went into the apartment with managers. After a manager knocked on the door, he used a key to open the unit for the police, and then Skelton said that the officials were immediately hit by a suspect with a weapon.

The officers withdrew. Minutes later, Skelton said that the suspects broke out a window in the back of the unit to get out.

Body Camera video shows how someone started shooting officers as soon as they climbed out of the window. Officers shot back and met Martinez.

Martinez and the 15-year-old were both taken to the hospital for treatment. Martinez was treated for a gunshot wound. The 15-year-old suffered a cut out of the window.

The camera video worn by the body can be seen here.

The officers were not injured. Both work from the Eastside Patrol. One is a 30-year-old veteran, the other a 13-year-old veteran.

The two leaders were in the administrative service during the investigation, which represents a standard procedure.

The conditions of the suspects are currently not known. Martinez was aware of when he was taken to the hospital.
