York Man dies in work-related incidents, studies in the Gange-WSOC TV

York County, SC-after a work-related incident at Meritor, Inc. in York in York, 35-year-old Stewart Campbell died, according to the Heralds.

Campbell, a resident of Sharon, was brought to the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, where he died on Friday. The incident occurred on the evening of February 27th in the production plant, which is part of the Cummins Power Solutions Company.

“On the evening of February 27, an accident occurred in our York production facility, which led to the death of one of our employees,” said Cummins spokesman Melinda Koski in a statement.

The South Carolina Department of Labor, License and Regulation, which monitors the state security and health administration of the state (Osha), has opened an investigation of the incident.

Holly Beeson, lawyer for the Department's Office and Government Affairs, confirmed that all deaths at the workplace had to be reported to Osha, and the investigations usually last six to eight weeks.

The York Police Department, Lt. Sean Bailey said that the city's officials reacted to the scene, but are currently not involved in the investigation.

The investigation by state and district -related civil servants continues to determine the circumstances of Campbell's death.
