Jay County hires a new football coach – Stateline Sports Network

(3-3-25) The Jay County School Board of Education has approved Eddie Fields' attitude as a new Cheffussball coach.

Her Jay County School Board unanimously voted for the hiring of our next Varsity football coach this evening.

We look forward to welcoming coach Eddie Fields to greet his wife Jennifer and her son Bryan in the Jay County family. With over 20 years of experience, we look forward to his leadership and the vision for our football program. Coach Fields is largely contributed to bringing our team to new heights. He is looking forward to becoming an essential part of the Patriot Way! The coach strives to get started and currently live in Georgia.

You have started the next steps to return to Indiana and look forward to getting to Jay and going to work! Another great day to be Patriot!

Fields is a graduate of Whitko High School and Ipfw. Most recently, he was Cheff football coach at Manchester for a season. ((Fields resigned as a Cheffussball coach of the Manchester High School in the Manchester High School May 2024 After his teaching position, it was cut. ) Fields made numerous stops during his coaching career, including FT. Wayne Elmhurst, South Side, Manchester University, Space Coast (Florida), Brantley County (Georgia), Hannah Pamplico HS (SC), where he was the defensive coordinator, and last season as an assistant at Wayne County (GA) the yellow jackets were 0-10.

His son played in Wayne County last season, he will be a junior.
