Lynchburg Police pursues arrest warrant's summary of seven

Lynchburg Police Carred up seven people in an arrest warrant to tackle violence in the city.

The operation led to temporary disorders in the whole city, including Road closures. A K9 unit also supported police officers.

Six people were arrested on February 27th. An additional person sought was arrested today.

The effort was a collaboration between the Police department of LynchburgThe Virginia State Police and the Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force.

Felicia Floyd, 31, from Lynchburg

Antonio Charlton, 53, from Lynchburg

  • Bond dismissal for possession with the intention of distributing a controlled substance

Julian Venable, 53, from Lynchburg

  • Ownership with the intention to distribute the controlled substance of the schedule I/II

Devon Bailey, 20, from Lynchburg

  • strangulation
  • Disability of the judiciary
  • Violation of probation (possession of a firearm by a criminal)

Marcus Hamlett, 38, from Lynchburg

Taken in custody on March 3

  • Attack on a family member
  • Threat in writing
  • Possession of ammunition by convicted criminals
  • Break and enter the occupied residence
  • Break and enter the apartment
  • Attack on the family member (third crime)
  • Ownership of medicinal products in Appendix I/II
  • Prevent/delay communications sent by wireless device sent
  • Property damage
