Ludington Walden signed with Adrian for football | Ludington Daily News

Ludington's Andre Walden takes his talent to Adrian to play for the Bulldogs.

Walden signed his national letter of intent on Monday to play football for Adrian College of Division III of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). He will play a tight end for the Bulldogs.

Walden chose Adrian about a few “few” other colleges. He will either study sports management or criminal justice.

“The reason why I decided Adrian was that I liked the coaches very much,” said Walden. “They were really uncomplicated. I just like that. I got to know some of the players and it just felt good for me. “

Walden said that sports was always a highlight for him during his time in Ludington. He plays baseball and tennis next to football.

“I played sports all my life,” he said. “So this moment is pretty big for me.”

Walden was the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division All-Conference Lonable mentioned last season for Orioles. He scored two touchdown passes and blocked a field gate in a game against Montague last season. Last year he caught two passes for 121 yards and two points against Mason County Central.

Walden said he appreciates the support of friends and family.

“There are a lot of people here,” he said. “You supported me a lot. I know you want me to go as far as possible. My parents were always there for me. They always supported me and such. “
