Reed Sheppard has a career evening in the first NBA start for the Houston Rockets

The Houston missiles were estimated against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday evening, and the former star of Kentucky, Reed Sheppard, started his first NBA start. Sheppard made this opportunity optimal and scored 25 points and 3: 7 out of three at 10-17 shootout.

Sheppard also organized a career house number of assists with five in this game. The former wildcat added two rebounds, two steals and a block to the status sheet.

The Rockets were missing some starters, thought the thunder, many of which believe they are the best team in the NBA.

Another former wildcat shone in this game when Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 51 points in victory for the thunder. Many believe that SGA will win MVP this season, and he would be the first former wildcat to perform this performance.

Sheppard didn't get much playing time for the Rockets in his rookie season, although he was the third overall selection in the 2024 NBA draft. The native of Kentucky finally had a chance on Monday evening, and in his first start he looked incredible.

This should give all Rocket and Kentucky fans the confidence that Sheppard will become a really good player when he plays more minutes.

The Rockets are 37-24 in the year and were one of the surprises of the league this season. If Sheppard continues to take the possibilities when he gets her, he may earn more playing time when the post -season rolls around.
