Newington defeats Rocky Hill and ends the regular season with 12-8 record | sport

After the first period, 0-0 was bound with two goals in the second period and a goal in the third period. Sophomore Paxton Kelly, Senior Josh Baudoin and Senior Mason Buckley scored goals. Senior Jack Petronio had three templates for the Nor'eaners.

Claffey had a total of 19 parades when Kyle Kundrath, senior goalkeeper from Rocky Hill, had 26 parades.

The victory on Monday was also the second time that the Nor'etasters defeated the terriers in a week. Last Wednesday, the Nor'easters scored a 7-1 win against Rocky Hill on the Cromwell Ice Rink and won both games with an overall grade of 10: 1.

After the victory, the Nor'easters will have a quick turn, as they will be on the ice again this Wednesday and the Conard Red Wolves will be organized in the first round of the Central Connecticut conference tournament. The season is set for 4:00 p.m.

This is the third time this season that the two CCC teams confronted each other when Conard won both meetings of the regular season. Conard gave Newington a 4-0 shutout on January 22nd and got a 3-1 win on February 22nd, which was the last defeat of Newington.
