China starts the annual parliamentary meeting, while investors pay attention to economic policy after indications

The Chinese leadership will start the annual parliamentary meeting on Tuesday, with Beijing to outline the economic measures to achieve its expected growth target of 5%.

Thousands of delegates gathered this week in the capital for the country's largest political event, which is known as “two sessions”.

The highly expected event comes when the government of the government of US President Donald Trump is great.

The “Two Sessions” serving, which consists of two parallel meetings, will begin with an opening meeting of the political advisory conference of the Chinese people, a top advisory committee, at 3 p.m. local time (2 a.m. et) in the large hall of the people in Beijing.

At the opening plenum, the CPPCC members, who are composed of party -lovers and representatives from the art, economic and legal sectors, are checked and approved the agenda for the upcoming meeting, and listen to a work report by the Wang Huning Committee, a top consultant by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The meeting of the top legislature, the national folk congress, is to be opened on Wednesday.

As part of the NPC meeting, investors will monitor a state work report, which will be sent by the Chinese premier Li Qiang on Wednesday, where the political decision -makers set the country's economic growth target to “around 5%”, while the budget budget is increased to 4% of the gross domestic product of 3% last year.

It is also expected that the managers reduce their annual goal of consumer prices to around 2%, the lowest in more than two decades.

The one -week event, which is completed on March 10, is followed by a press conference with Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the head of the economic departments. The Foreign Minister's briefing will provide information on how Beijing plans to deal with the new US government.

The White House has announced plans to raise an additional 10% tariff on Chinese goods from Tuesday, with the total amount of new tariffs increasing to 20% in almost a month.

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Commerce confirmed that Beijing had “rejected” the additional tariffs and swore to take over countermeasures a day after the global times of the Chinese state media had reported that officials were considered for American agricultural and food.
