Man accused of shot wife

Jonesboro, Ark. (Kait) – The Jonesboro police arrested a man after saying that he shot his wife.

According to the affidavit, the officials reacted to the 300 block of the North Drake Street because of a shootout on Friday, February 28th.

When the police arrived, they confronted Starks and after a “short fight” he was taken into custody.

Officers found a woman suffering from several firing wounds. The affidavit says that she had three injuries, “one in the chin, one in the neck and one in her left hand through two fingers.”

The police said that Starks drank when he and his wife, the victim, argue about ongoing problems in their marriage.

Two women were also at home and tried to convey between the two.

The police said Starks then went into the bedroom and returned to the living room with a silver pistol, shot on the two women and then on his wife.

Judge Fowler issued a bar/guarantee bond of $ 1 million with an order from the victims.

Starks should appear in court on Thursday, April 24th.
