2 people who were shot in Mission Valley, says the police – NBC 7 San Diego

One person is dead and another is injured after a shootout at the Hotel Circle in San Diego's Mission Valley on Monday evening, the police said.

The incident occurred in the Handley Hotel in the 950 Hotel Circle North at 8:20 p.m.

When the officials arrived, according to the San Diego police department, two people – one in their chest and one in their arms – found them. The police later confirmed that one of the victims died.

Nobody is in custody, said SDPD.

Linnea Harris visits San Diego from Canada. She told NBC 7 that after a place where she should spend the night after her hotel reserve had been canceled.

“It is just to think nerve -wracking, you know what will I do now? I have no accommodation. I don't know if I can walk along the street. I don't really know what's going on,” said Harris.
