The state of New Mexico begins spring football practices

Las Cruces, New Mexico – despite the strong winds that met the border area on Monday afternoon, the NMSU -Uggies met the ground on the first day of spring practice.

The expectations are high because the NMSU head coach Tony Sanchez enters its second season at the head of the Aggies.

Last season, the Aggies ended the 2024 season with an overall record of 3-9.

Monday was day one of 15 practice meetings that are planned for spring

The aggies will play on Saturday, April 5th in the Bulldog Bowl in Artesia, New Mexico, their Spring Football game.

This season there are 34 new members in the squad, 28 of which are already in the team for spring exercises.

The Aggies open the 2025 season against Bryant University at home.
