On Monday, March 17th, the Spirits Business Hub in ProWein, which will be in Hall 7 in Stand C01, will organize five sessions that cover a wide range of test subjects that are specific for the spirit scene.

One of the highlights of the day is an exclusive Q&A with Ian Somerhalder, star of the HIT TV series the Vampire Diaries And co -founder of the award -winning Bond Bourbon's Bond Bourbon.

10.30 a.m. – The future of spirits prices: balancing brand prestige with economic realities

Enter Matthieu Gouze, Managing Director of Maison Ferrand, and Kim Heng Teo, Managing Director at El Supremo, because you will discuss how the rising global costs have the spirits market and the effects on both premium and value-oriented categories. Since inflation and supply chain disorders contribute to increasing production costs, brands must navigate the challenge to maintain their price position. How can this be done while protecting consumers, who also feels the pinch? The discussion examines how this economic pressure influences different price points with a headlight on new trends.


12 o'clock – How technology changes the beverage industry: from production and maturation to the commitment of consumers

Take up Rob Hollands from Proof 8 while discussing the transformation options that offer new technologies for manufacturers, warehouses and marketers. From the data -controlled AI to transparent supply chains, which are driven by blockchain and intelligent sensors, we will examine how companies can use the technology to optimize production and to develop new traceability and transparency.

3 p.m. – spirited women: success of the distillation

Close Malka Roth, co -founder of Casa Malka Tequila, as well as ISOBEL and IMOGE ARMSTRONG, co -founder of the Secret Garden Distillery, and a thoughtful panel discussion on the effects of female founded spirits. This session will highlight the stories of women who examine themselves in the beverage industry and discuss their travels, challenges and success. Give insights into the influence of the future of the spirits world and in the change within the industry.


4.30 p.m. – Binding about Bourbon: A conversation with Ian Somerhalder

Connect The spirits businessMelita Kiel, editor-in-chief, for an exclusive conversation with the actor, entrepreneur and whiskey enthusiast Ian Somerhalder when he deals with the history of the Bond Bourbon brand of his brother.
