Floresville ISD coordinates the 4-day school week

The Board of Trustees of the ISD from Floresville submitted this vote on Monday to keep and recruit new teachers to support the learning of the students.

San Antonio – The Floresville ISD curatorium has switched to a four -day school week for the academic school year 2025.

The vote occurred on Monday evening and the district says that they hope that this will hold high -quality teachers and attracts to support the learning of the students.

According to Floresville, the students will be at school from Monday to Thursday, with the exception of some Fridays.

The district would give two weeks for Christmas and a week free for Thanksgiving and spring holidays.

On some days, like the President's day, can also be a school day.

When children are eliminated on Friday, Floresville ISD is that they have a provider after school that can be seen free of charge before the 5th grade, regardless of family income.

Friday dishes would also be made available in a certain location.

Floresville ISD published an explanation with questions about the lesson time in which they are already above the minimum amount required by Texas Education Agency (TEA).

The district says that they could make minor changes to their campus on their start and end times in order to meet this requirement.

These changes would come into force in autumn.

The district says that teachers and employees would not be influenced by these changes.
