Ms. shot about officers for knife after the accusation

Hiram – During the examination of a murder, Hiram police officers were charged by a woman armed with a knife.

At the request of the Hiram police authority, the GBI agents examine an official who affects the shootout and murder in Hiram, GA.

Preliminary information shows that the Paulding County 911 Center received a call for help in an apartment complex in Hiram on Sunday, March 2, 2025. At around 1:15 p.m., officials from the Hiram police authority arrived at the 6000 block of the Bill Carruth Parkway and found a man lying on the street at the intersection. Officers then noticed a woman with a knife and bloody clothing. She stormed the official and refused to stop or drop the knife. The woman continued to ask the officials and did not reject all the verbal commands of the officers. Officers tried to use non -fatal violence to prevent the woman from accusing the officials with the knife, but the attempt was unsuccessful.

Both officers on site gave verbal commands, but the woman continued to burden the officer with a knife and finally stabbed the knife. An officer fired the woman several times who held the knife.

The woman received immediate medical care and was taken to a local hospital, but was later declared dead in the hospital in the afternoon.

The man was declared dead at the crime scene.

The woman was identified, but her next relative was not notified. The man was not identified, but identification services are tried in the GBI Crime Lab.

A GBI medical examiner in Decatur, GA, will carry out an autopsy.

This investigation is active and continuous.

As soon as the examination is completed, it will be transferred to the Paulding district prosecutor for review.
