Fatal crash in Rockbridge County examined

The state police in Virginia examined a tragic accident with two vehicles, which led to a death in Rockbridge County. The crash occurred on Saturday, March 1, at 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of Route 11 and Pine Forest Road.

According to the authorities, a Toyota 4-Runner from 2005 failed to bend the right of way 11 from a stop sign on Pine Forest Road from a stop sign on Route 11 from 79-year-old Patricia Ann Bane from Lexington, Virginia, Virginia.

The Toyota was hit by a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, which drove south at the time of the collision on Route 11.

Ms. Bane wore her seat belt, but was declared dead at the crime scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 40-year-old man, did not wore his seat belt and suffered injuries during the crash.

He was taken to a nearby hospital to treat his injuries.

The state police in Virginia stated that there are currently no charges pending, and the crash continues to be examined.

The authorities ask everyone to contact Virginia State Police with additional information about the incident.

The municipality of Rockbridge County mourns the loss of Ms. Bane and the examination of the cause of the accident continues.
