The couple met online and immediately contacted his joint experiences. After falling in love, Pamela made a leap of faith and moved across national borders to live with Jay and his parents, who only supported the couple.

The couple currently lived in a finished basement apartment in Jay's family home, but with a desire for independence they hope to take off and find their own place where they can call at home.
