The first TGL playoffs will begin with the first regular season that ends on Tuesday evening. In view of the fact that the TGL is a brand new indoor golf league, the playoffs will contain a unique format and qualification system that Golffans will see for the first time.

Playoff qualification rules

In the first TGL season, six teams competed in five games each. Each team received 2 points for a win and 1 point for loss loss. The four best teams with most points after the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs.

The two teams, which take place in the regular and sixth place in the regular season, miss the playoffs. When two teams are bound in points at the end of the regular season, each team in their five games wins the tiebreaker.

Which teams did the post -season?

While a regular game of the season still has to be played on Tuesday evening, the playoff field has already been determined. The Los Angeles Golf Club, the Bay Golf Club, the Atlanta Drive Golf Club and the New York Golf Club will compete in the first TGL playoffs.

TGL playoffs format

The first playoffs will consist of two rounds. Two single elimination games are played in the semifinals, with the winners driving forward and the losers go home.

In the last round, the two surviving teams will compete in a best-of-thread series of games to determine the 2025 champion.

TGL Playoff's schedule

The first of two semi -final games in the TGL playoffs will take place on Monday, March 17th, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The second match begins on Tuesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. ET, ESPN offers TV reporting on the second match.

The last round of the TGL playoffs begins with the first game on Monday, March 24th, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The second final match will take place the next day, Tuesday, March 25th, from 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. If the teams share the first two games, a third and final game will be played immediately after the second at 9:00 p.m. and also at ESPN.
