2 critically injured in Flint TWP. Shooting, suspect arrested

Flint Twp., Mich. (WNEM) – A flint man was arrested after he allegedly shot two women and critically injured them, according to Flint Township.

The police authority was sent to an address in the Cloverreifree Apartments in Flint Township to receive a report on a shootout on Tuesday, March 4, at 9:37 a.m.

When arriving at the scene, the officials found a 33-year-old woman from Flint Township and a 31-year-old city of Flint Woman, both of whom were shot, the police authority said.

The women were taken to a regional hospital and, according to the police authority, listed in a critical condition from Tuesday at 2:09 p.m.

A 24-year-old Flint man was identified as a suspect and later arrested in an apartment complex in Flint Township, the police authority said.

The preliminary investigation showed that these people had come into a dispute that ended with shots, said the police authority.

The examination continues and is forwarded to the Genesee County public prosecutor's office for review.
