Wilmington St. Patrick's Day Parade Set for March 15th

Wilmington, NC (et) – The 24th annual parade of St. Patrick's Day returns to downtown Wilmington on March 15.

The parade for a start from 11 a.m. begins at the intersection of Hanover and Front Street and, according to the event website, ends on the streets in front and on Marktstrasse.

Pat Naughton will act as this year's large marshal of the parade. He is accompanied by his wife Colleen and daughter Caitlin.

“Pat has been a member of the fraternal organizations Ancient Order of Hibernianer and Knights of Columbus for many years, including services in officer positions in Virginia and currently in Brunswick County. Pat is also an active volunteer with warm NC and with the NC State Extension Master Gardener Program ”, a publication of Parade organizers.
