Chappell Roan announces the publication date “The Giver”

After weeks in which she had annoyed her upcoming single with the billboard marketing in guerrilla-style across the country, Chappell Roan has officially announced that “The Giver” will be released on March 13th at 8pm (ET).

The singer unveiled the news on social media and explained that she wrote the song with producer and frequent employee Dan Nigro. “We have never done a country song and I have such a special place in my heart for country music,” she wrote. “I grew up in my school bus every morning and afternoon and let it play around me at bombing, grocery stores and karaoke bars. Many people asked if that means that I do a country album ??? My answer is … hmm at the moment I only make songs that make me happy and funny and the encoder is my attitude to Cuntry Xoxo, May the classic country divas lead their genre.

Roan debut “The Giver” on the “Saturday Night Live” for the first time in November 2024, gave a foretaste of the country station and suggested that his release were imminent. Only since then she has annoyed it and has set up advertising boards with a hotline telephone number in the past few weeks.

This is the first new single from Roan since “Good luck, baby!” Published in April 2024. This came in the middle of the dynamics of her debut album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest” 2023, which spawn numerous goals in the course of the year. “Good luck, baby!” Received several Grammy nominations and Roan finally took home the coveted best new artist Trophy.
