Mikel Landa begins 2025 season in Strade Bianche

Mikel Landa will start his 2025 season in Strade Bianche on Saturday, where the base driver will first compete against the white streets of Tuscany in his career.

In his second year with Soudal Quickstep, the 35-year-old decided to delay his racing debut, and skipped the early stage races in Portugal and Spain, which traditionally marked the beginning of his season.

“It is one of the most beautiful, but also one of the hardest races of the season, and we are motivated to do our best and leave everything out there. It won't be easy and we don't start as a favorite, but we have a solid team that comes at the beginning after a few strong excursions last week. So we are confident that we are committed to the fight for a nice result, ”said sports director Davide Bramati.
