Samuel Ersson moved a bad start after home stock – NBC Sports Philadelphia

Back in Philadelphia and the dynamics, the Flyers opened a season with a home stand with seven games with a DUD.

They gave up four goals of the first period and lost to the flames in the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday evening.

Samuel Ersson was thrown only 9:32 minutes after the campaign after giving up three goals at five shots.

Noah Cates stopped bleeding the flyers with a destination. Andrei Kuzmenko and Matvei Michkov scored the other markers.

Calgary frozen the game with an empty network.

The Flyers (27-27-8) had a five-game point strip (4-0-1). Three days ago, they took the NHL-leading jets on the street 2-1 in a shootout.

“If you are at home as a trainer, you are always worried about the level of concentration, only with families and other things that are at home,” said John Tortorella on Tuesday at Morning Skating. “I just want you to concentrate on every game.”

The Flyers have a game before Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET trade period and 20 to go into the season. On Tuesday they took four points back to second place on the Eastern Conference, but with five teams in front of them.

The flames (29-23-9) are in the second game card position of the Western Conference.
