WVSSAC class AAAA Girls Basketball State Tournament Timetable

Morgantown, W.Va. – Eight teams have qualified for the WVSSAC Class Aaaa Girls Basketball State tournament. The five -day event with 28 games begins on March 11th in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Radio broadcasts of all state tournament games are broadcast on the Metronews Radio Network and streamed at WVMetroneews.com. Metronews will also produce HD video broadcasts of the four championship games.

Quarter -finals of the AAAA class:

Wednesday, March 12th

Game 1 – No. 3 Parkersburg against No. 6 George Washington – 9:30 a.m.

Game 2 – No. 2 Morgantown against No. 7 Washington – 1 p.m.

Game 3 – No. 1 Spring Valley against No. 8 Spring Mills – 5:30 p.m.

Game 4 – No. 4 University against No. 5 St. Albans – 9 p.m.

Classes AAAA semi -finals:

Friday, March 14th

Game 5 – game 3 winners against game 4 winners – 11:15 a.m.

Game 6 – game 1 winner against game 2 winners – 7:15 p.m.

Class Aaaa championship:

Saturday, March 15th

Game 7 – championship – 5 p.m.
