CBI recognizes paperlobscam under East Central Railway

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) discovered and distributed an examination paper in the department examination under the East Central Railway (ECR) in Mughal Sarai in Uttar Pradesh during an operation on the intervention on Monday (March 3, 2025).

In an official declaration on Tuesday (March 4, 2025), the CBI told a case against a high -ranking divisional electrical engineer (Sr. Dee) (operations) and eight other railway officers together with unknown candidates.

The ECR had carried out a departmental examination for the positions of the Chief Loco Inspectors (CLI) on Tuesday (March 4, 2025). During the chicks carried out by CBI in three places in Mogul Sarai, a total of 17 candidates were found with photocopies by handwritten questionnaires.

The examinations carried out so far showed that the accused Sr. Dee (Ops) received responsibility for the determination and preparation of the question of question paper for the exam. In his own manuscript, he had written the questions in English and allegedly translated them in a Loco pilot who translated them into Hindi and translated it further to an office board (OS). The operating system in question allegedly gave the candidate through some other train employees, ”said the CBI in the explanation.

The agency has arrested the accused Sr. Dee (OPS) and other railway employees for allegations of recording money and distribution of questionnaires.

Up to 17 department candidates who are currently working as local pilots allegedly paid money for the question paper and were talked to the copies of the questionnaires, and all of them were arrested.

In this case, a total of 26 railway officials have been arrested. The searches were carried out at eight locations, which led to a recovery of 1.17 billion GBP in cash.

The CBI also announced that these amounts were reportedly collected by the candidates for the course of the questionnaires.

The handwritten questionnaires together with their photocopies were confiscated, and these questionnaires were evaluated with the original/actual questioning paper and were unanimous.

The CBI also said that further investigations are carried out in this case.
