The judge refuses a reduced deposit for men who are involved in the Midtown Anchorage police

Anchorage, Alaska (Ktuu) – A judge submitted an application for a reduced deposit and house arrest for a man who is accused of a botched robbery at a Midtown Day Spa before he was shot by the police in January.

The 34 -year -old Michael Krischuk appeared in court on Tuesday for a deposit hearing, in which his defense lawyer said that due to Krischuk's minimum criminal story, his current deposit of 25,000 US dollars should be reduced to 2,000 US dollars.

In addition, Krischuk's lawyer asked the judge to waive the third -party administrator approved by the court while he is on the road for the deposit, and instead he has Krischuk supervised by the priority department in the house arrest.

However, the state argued that Krischuk was accused of having committed an armed robbery, while it is traveling against the deposit due to an earlier armed robbery, is proof of a lack of willingness to follow court descriptions.

Andrew Peterson, the judge of the Supreme Court of Alaska, agreed and said that Krischuk's behavior had shown a trend in question.

“He has no long crime history, but there is a kind of pattern with the last three crimes, two robberies in a row and even more worrying or as worrying than the officials arrived, he did not stop,” said Peterson.

A hearing for discovery was determined for April 2.

Court documents show Krischuk To limit a woman who was later identified as the owner of the spa with band. The woman managed to escape and received help with 911 calls from a nearby market.

With the support of the employees of this nearby market, the Krischuk police were able to find the back of the spa and moved to the parking lot, where the police were soon shot after an official.

The officer who shot Krischuk was later identified as an officer William Parry, who was discontinued in June 2016, according to APD.
