New MP Superintendent Treaty, which should begin earlier than expected

Milwaukee – The public school district of Milwaukee will have a new guide earlier than expected.

“There is a little urgency with the upcoming reports and some of the work that needs to be done,” said the new MP Brenda Cassellius.

Your contract should begin on July 1st, but it will start earlier on March 15th. The MPS school authority approved the contract on Tuesday evening.

Megan Lee von Tmj4 asked Cassellius if she thought she would start this position so early.

“I didn't do it, no. But I am ready and capable of rolling up my sleeves and starting with the board and the full community,” she said.

After a year of turbulence for the district, Lee Cassellius asked how she wanted to turn the district around.

“Bring some hope and start planning. Listen to our parents and our students and our teachers and our school leaders what they want to see for the next coming school year,” said Cassellius.

On the same day, her first working day finds a judicial period that resource officers have in schools.

“I am used to working with our police community. We will only make sure that it is a good implementation that we work together with the full community and the school community,” said Cassellius.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Common Council von Milwaukee voted to promote school resource officials.

They voted 10-4 for the approval of the plan.
