Doechii publishes new single “Fear”: Stream

After a lifting storm in February, in which she published the show at The Grammys Stahl, a new single and worked with Jennie with Jennie, Doechii is back with another new song, “Anxiety”.

The single builds up for a sample of Gotyes timeless hits “someone I knew”, and the single sees Doechii Muse on the feeling of title of fear and comes with open, relating lines such as: “I just feel like this tight in my breast/ how an elephant is on me.” On the choirs, layers of their language round together to make a touching baffle.

But if the opening lines of “fear” familiarize themselves, then because the song had become a recognizable hit online before it was ever officially published. As Doechii recently explained in a video, she made the song some time ago and invited it independently on YouTube, where it was heard and tried by rapper Sleepy Hallow for his 2023 song “Fear”.

Sleepy's version shows verses and leaves Doechii's complete composition that now has time in the sun. Stream the song below.

Doechii won the Grammy Award for the best rap album at the 67th Grammys last month for their publication of 2024, Alligator bites never heal. The same night she celebrated the victory with the release of a new single, “nosebleed”. Later a month she and Jennie worked on the single “Extral” from the upcoming solo album of the Blackpink Star, the ruby.
