NOPD examines murder in the seventh district

The NOPD examines a murder that has occurred today (March 4, 2025) in the 5700 block of the Crowder Boulevard and left an adult male deceased.

At around 5:53 p.m., the officials of the seventh districts in the NOPD responded to a reported shootout at the location in connection with a fight that was supposedly occurring. Through further investigations, detectives found the victim of a vehicle along the I-10 East, shortly after Crowder Boulevard and after a gunshot wounds (s). The victim was declared deceased on site.

The investigators are currently gathering evidence and information in order to identify the persons responsible for this incident and a motif. No additional details are currently available.

The Coron Coroner office in Orleans will identify the victim and the official cause of death after the autopsy has been completed and the notification of the family.
