Michigans Bryce Underwood, Oregons Dakoren Moore among the most important college football newcomers to see in spring

Spring exercises is an exciting time for football fans. Although the calendar changes like everything else with sport, it still offers the opportunity to take an early look at the team structure and composition for the upcoming season.

This means that the first melt of the high school becomes the norm and take a tempting first look at the beginning of the study. Only a few players generate headlines like newcomers, especially since spring practice marks their first real debut on the big stage.

Since the transfer portal and zero compress the timeline for the production and the additional pressure on staying of top talents, newcomers earn more playing time than ever. Take a look at Jeremiah Smith Jeremiah Smith, who dominated the first year as a first year as a first year player in 2024, in the Ohio State Wide Record.

Although Smith is prototypical, he was immediately performed as Alpha Wide Receiver for a national title profit squad, but there are many newcomers who have an impact on large programs during the 2025 season. Here are some that you can keep in mind in the eye of spring practice.

247Sports ranking: No. 5 RB, No. 121 Natl.

Phil Mafah, Clemson's leading Rusher, is on the NFL and Jay Haynes, his top backup, his ACL tore up against Smu at the Tigers' ACC championship game. This means that Keith Adams Jr. is the only returning scholarship that had at least 30 Carries last season and will be completely available for spring practice. In Adams' three years at Clemson, however, there was no evidence that show that he is ready for a Bell-Cow role. All of this to say that Davidson will have every opportunity not only to earn snapshots, but also to achieve a starting role for the tigers.

Daryus Dixson, DB, Penn State

247Sports ranking: No. 11 CB, No. 88 NATL.

Penn State is no stranger if he plays young talents at Cornerback, and Dixson could stand next. The 6-foot-Dixson, a product of Mater Mater Dei in California, has already shown the physical characteristics that are required for the competition in the big ten. It is not the sportiest defensive back view, but it is fundamentally arriving and has a college-capable frame that can be further improved in the weight room.

Michael Fasusi, Ol, Oklahoma

247Sports ranking: No. 1 OT, No. 8 Natl.

The left Tackle Logan Howland, which played better in the course of the 2024 season, is back and the Sooners also added transfers Derek Simmons (Western Carolina) and Luke Baklenko (Stanford), so that Fasusi will have a lot of competition. But the offensive line of Oklahoma also allowed an FBS-Wundsten-50 sacks last season, so help is required. There is an opportunity that Fasusi will start his career as a rotation piece. In view of the fact that he is already one of the most talented players in Oklahomas, his role should grow when he adapts to the hardship of college football.

Isaiah Gibson, Edge, Georgia

247Sports ranking: No. 1 Edge, No. 14 Natl.

Gibson is the top rusher rated top, which is signed in the modern recruitment time at Georgia. This is a scary thought in view of the amount of defensive talent that the Bulldogs are fully grown among experienced coaches Kirby Smart. Gibson also arrives in a large position of Georgia's necessity, which lost the Key Edge Chazz Chambliss through the NFL design. It is expected that Gabe Harris is driving for the bulldog, but he is not the player who dominates the snapshots to the point where Gibson is kept from the field. In view of Gibson's sporting profile, Georgia can also experiment with the moving of Gibson. With this versatility, he should get a beautiful role in the first class in a national title contender.

247Sports ranking: No. 3 S, No. 57 NATL.

After a successful 7-6 campaign under coach Brent Key, the yellow jackets are a dark horse that makes even more noise in 2025. Her impressive recruitment victories, which begin in the state of Georgia, are a big reason for this. Harris, Georgia's No. 10 player in the 2025 class, was one of these great victories for Georgia Tech. He brings an urgently needed injection of talents into the Veteran Backfield from Tech and was supposed to thrive under the new defensive coordinator Blake Gideon, which recently developed some top shelf security in Texas.

Dakories Moore, WR, Oregon

247Sports ranking: No. 1 Wr, No. 9 NATL.

Oregon has tons of talents on the Wide Receiver Spot, especially since the former five-star van Stewart returns to Eugene. So Moore has to work hard to see the field early. He has the talent that would justify a starting place outside the gate, especially since he has left part of the setbacks left in recent years by leaving the slot Tez Johnson. Moore has a similar frame at 5-foot 11 and can stretch the field like Johnson, which has often burned nickel corners and safety precautions that pulled it in reporting.

David Sanders Jr., Ol, Tennessee

247Sports ranking: No. 3 OT, No. 11 Natl.

Tennessee kept a late run from the state of Ohio to secure the Sanders of Sanders, and gave the Vols the best rated view in class 2025. These efforts should immediately pay dividends, since Sanders are the heir to the Tennessees Freie Rechtsspot. As a newcomer, let alone in the SEC, to start along the offensive line, it is never an easy offer. Therefore, it is proof of Sanders' talent that Tennessee will probably trust him to have one of the edges for franchise quarters and former recruits Nico Iamaleava for franchise quarters and former recruit of franchise.

Bryce underwood, QB, Michigan

247Sports ranking: No. 1 QB, No. 1 NATL.

Underwood may not start immediately, even though he gets a fair shake to win the job during spring training and in the autumn camp. Michigan brought the former outstanding state from Fresno, Mikey Keene, as a bridge arm, if Underwood is not ready to leave the goals. But he is too talented to stay on the bench for a long time, even if his early appearances in the game book for recognizing Duty or special games have relegated. Do not be surprised if Underwood at some point leads Michigan's offensive, provided that he does not start the year in this role.

Matt Zenitz

247Sports ranking: No. 9 DL, No. 60 Natl.

The defender of Florida State, Darrell Jackson Jr., returns to his fifth College Football Year, who starts Wynn from now on in most packages. But Wynn already looks like the most college-capable nose tackle on the squad in Florida State. At 6-foot 1.5 ideal for the inner line, where the low man often wins and £ 348. This is not much of a bad weight either, and it moves very well in a short area for a Lineman. The State Florida will find a way to bring Wynn to the field where it could be a monster against the run.
