Overnight shots in Lexington Park: man shot in the face, looking for a suspicious one

Lexington Park, Md. – The Sheriff's office of St. Mary's County examines a shootout that took place in Lexington Park early Wednesday morning.

At around 1 a.m. on March 5, 2025, the MPs responded to the 46000 block of Marshall Boulevard after 911 had fired reports on fired shots. On arrival, the MPs found a male victim in the face with a gunshot wound. They immediately provided help until the medical emergency staff arrived. The victim was taken to a regional hospital, where it is listed in stable state.

Detectives from the criminal investigation department took over the case and actively pursue leads.
