Column | Predicting future Penn State NFL Combine Performanances | Penn State Football News

The annual NFL combination in Indianapolis has come and gone. Now let's look into the future.

Penn State has talent across the board, which could pull up a few eyebrows in the combine.

Here is my prediction of what the current Penn stagors could set up if you enter the NFL draft.

Nick Singleton, runs back:

40-yard fittings board: 4.32 seconds

Bank press: 27 repetitions

20-yard shuttle: 4.22 seconds

Vertical jump: 40 inches

With a pound of £ 6, Nick Singleton is a sporty freak. The Saquon Barkley comparisons will fly as soon as Singleton gets on the way in the NFL combination. I think he strikes Barkley in all categories except for one category.

Speed is the first thing that stands out with a singleton. He said he had a 40-yard fittings board with 4.33 40 yard disorders in the 2024 offseason. It is likely that he will stay in this area, if not faster, will come next year. Barkley is a little more stocky and ran a 4.4, so that a 4.32 40-yard fitting board is certainly plausible.

With his power to accompany, Singleton should be able to switch off at least 25 repetitions, five less than Barkley.

These will not be the only events in which he shines. Singleton crouched five frames of 570 pounds a year ago, which forecast a maximum crouch of at least £ 615. It is an allusion to its explosiveness that helps him shorten a 40-inch vertical and a 20-yard shuttle below 4.25.

Zane Durant, defensive tackle:

40-yard fittings board: 4.63 seconds

20-yard shuttle: 4.33 seconds

Bank press: 33 repetitions

Former team-mate Dvon J-Thomas said Zane Durant could do a 4.45-second 40 and a bank £ 455 for five repetitions. Durant did not say a 4.6 40-yard fittings board, but can have £ 455.

In any case, Durant is an explosive athlete, and although he doesn't get love in the box score, the combine harvester should be his time to shine.

Pounding Durants at 6-foot 1 and 288 pounds. But Aaron Donald too. The Rams legend was listed at three pounds, but ran a 4.66 40-yard dash and got 35 repetitions on the bench.

Donalds obviously unique, but Durant was able to set up a 4.63 40-yard dash and get at least 30 repetitions on the bench.

Durant's 20-yard shuttle should be proof of the reputation that he built as a freak athlete.

Cooper Cousins, inner interior

Bank press: 35 repetitions

3-kon drill: 7.33 seconds

Cooper Cousins threw 17 repetitions to the bench in May 2022. Yes, he was still in the high school.

He was under £ 300 at that time, but now it is up to 6-foot 6, £ 320.

The working morale of the cousins has become an important topic for the young linemen, so it is likely that its numbers will skyrocket because it is not only considered in 2027. When he comes to college, he received another area for which he received praise.

He will probably be a highly advertised view. Cousins' combine numbers should be the icing on the cake.

Tony Rojas, LineBacker

40-yard fittings board: 4.48 seconds

20-yard shuttle: 4.24

As shown with his Pick-6 against Smu in College Football Playoff 2024, Tony Rojas has some bikes.

He played back at the Fairfax High School and then showed it. It jumped from 200 pounds to £ 236, but it is obvious that he can still move.

According to Audrey Snyder from Penn State, Rojas ran a 40-yard strike with 4.4 seconds while visiting Penn State. With the additional weight, he was reportedly up to a 4.5-second 40 yard fittings board in the last low season.

Rojas' design industry has not yet been arrested, with injuries derailing his 2024 campaign. His sportiness should enable him to achieve well in the combine and give his stock a small thrust.

Max Granville, defensive end

40-yard fittings board: 4.49 seconds

10-yard split: 1.55 seconds

Long jump: 10-foot 7

Max Granville is ahead of the development curve because it should be in his first lesson semester and only enrolled in the autumn camp in 2024. He started at 223 pounds, but ate 12 eggs a day to mass up to £ 245 to meet £ 252 in the season.

Granville has a lot of profile in his tires, and what noticed the most is its explosiveness.

He was Abdul Carter's backup in the “Prowler” package last season, a pass-rushing formation. So it is likely that he will achieve impressive numbers when he enters the draft.

Granville's career trajectory does not have to be created yet. So it is not guaranteed that he deserves a combine invitation. But even then his pro day should be his time to shine.

If it is not its speed and explosiveness, it will be its strength. He was a man among boys at the Fort Bend Christian Academy. Exciting you that this will reappear if he continues to accept during his career.
