Webster Ready Start Network to register for early childhood education in Hosten-Minden Press-Herald

The Webster Ready Start Network will organize two registration events for early childhood education programs for 2025-26 and offer families the opportunity to record children from birth in high-quality learning programs from birth.

The event of the municipality of Springhill/North Webster will take place on Friday, March 14th, in the high school of the North Webster High School in 101 S. Arkansas Street. The event of the Minden/South Webster Parish will follow on Friday, March 21st, on the Minden Rec, 1000 Recreation Drive. Both events will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

With the topic “It was once”, the registration events will provide information on the available educational options for early childhood education, including a lead for children from 18 months to four years, early learning centers for the birth of four years and webster Parish School's pre-K programs for four year olds.

The Webster Ready start network consists of 18 early childhood pages, including 10 Type III early learning centers, three early lead/head start programs and five public pre-K schools. These programs aim to prepare children for kindergarten by promoting cognitive, social-emotional and fine motor skills that are crucial for the long-term academic success.
