Grand Rapids Rampage Football Franchise will return in 2026

Grand Rapids, me. -One of the Sports franchise companies from Grand Rapids from the past could return to the furniture city in the near future.

A new football team that attracts the rampage moniker announced that in 2026 he will take on the field in the new National Gridiron League (NGL).

The original rampage franchise played in the Arena Football League from 1998 to 2008 and won a single league championship in 2001. The team was officially folded up in 2010.

Now 15 years later, a new team will play as raging rhinos, but it will miss the opening season of the Gridiron League in 2025.

“This decision did not become lightly,” said a NGL spokesman. “We are still committed to bringing professional football to Grand Rapids and are confident that the killing spree will play a crucial role in our future success. We want to start strong and grow steadily to ensure that all teams are set up for long -term competitiveness and commitment of the community. “

In the 2025 NGL season, 8 teams will contain, with Grand Rapids and Cleveland 2026.

It is not immediately clear who is behind the rampage franchise, with only one team spokesman submitting an explanation.

“While we want to compete, we respect the direction of the league and look forward to continuing to set up our team, community presence and fan base next year.”

Where the killing spree at home calls, who trains and what the players will join, everyone has to be determined.
