2025 Primetime Emmy Awards Date announced

The 77th Emmy Awards will be transferred to CBS, live-to-coast-to-coast Award from the Peacock Theater in La Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14 (8:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. The show will also be available for live and on demand on Paramount+.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, in which the majority of the Emmys are awarded, will be awarded on Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th.

Since 1995, the Emmys have been filming between Fox and the three older networks – ABC, CBS and NBC. Other hosts in the years in which the show was broadcast on CBS, Stephen Colbert (2017), Neil Patrick Harris (2009, 2013), Ellen Degeneres (2001, 2005) and Bryant Gumbel (1997).

Jesse Collins Entertainment produced the last two prime time Emmy Awards TV programs, with Alex Rudzinski being on board as director for both shows. Last year's show on ABC was organized by the father-son team by Eugene Levy and Dan Levy.

The nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, July 15th by the television academy and streamed live at 8:30 a.m. PT on the Emmys website. The host and the producers for this year's television program will be announced at a later date.

Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers have an access to stream live via the live feed of your local CBS partner for service and if necessary. Paramount+ Essential Subscribers do not have the option of streaming live, but on the day after the special expires, access to on-demand.
