Miami football strength of the schedule is low according to ESPN Guru

The schedule of 2025 Miami, the Florida and Notre Dame in non-conference and 2024 College Football Playoff participant Smu, occupies 36th place in the SP+by Bill Connelly von ESPN. Connelly published his projected SP+, profit amount and strength of the schedule for the 2024 season.

In his X-Post, Connelly noticed that his strength of the schedule assessment is the projected profit percentage that could expect an average top 5 team against the schedule of the respective team. It was also found that Oklahoma and Florida had to be top five caliber to end 9-3 per connelly.

Connellly projects Miami with nine victories and Florida with 6.6, but has no emergency lady among the teams with the 40 most difficult schedules in 2025. Florida is listed by Connelly in 2025 behind Oklahoma as the most secondary schedule.

Miami begins the season on August 31 in the Hard Rock Stadium against Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are a consensus-top 10 team in the previous season and the five highest in several forecasts in the early season. Miami is organized on September 6th and September 13th in Südflorida Bethune-Cookman.

Florida Bookenden The two Marquee-Nnicht conference games in 2025 in Hard Rock Stadium on September 20. Florida State, North Carolina State, Stanford and Syracuse are 2025 Miami opponents, who take the strength of schedules in the top 40 Pro SP+.

The ESPN soccer -Power index was the 56th on the most difficult schedule in 2024. The Boston College and Clemson are the only ACC teams that Miami does not play with SOS from SP+ Top 40.

The strength of the schedule will almost certainly play a factor for determining College football playoffs. Four of the six best teams in BPIS strength of the schedule in 2024 received college football playoff lying areas. Florida and Notre Dame with strong 2025 seasons would help Miamis SOS.
