Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton speaks in freedom

Lynchburg, va. – Learning of resilience is the key to managing the unpredictable challenges of life. That was the message that Liberty University heard today.

In the 2025 invasion of the university, “Soul Surfer” Bethany Hamilton was shared with students.

Hamilton lost her arm in 2003 on a shark attack off the coast of Hawaii. She uses her personal experiences as a guide to overcome the adversities of life.

“So if you feel like Ugh, I can't do it, give up. I can no longer stand that. Remember that you can hold out, ”said Hamilton.

Hamilton introduces a method that she created to transform chaos into peace. Videos from her documentary also show how your method helps her navigate the unknown in and out of the water.

The convening houses renowned speakers annually and is the largest assembly of Christian students worldwide.
