Beale Street Shooting Trial Tag 3 | Witnesses

Judge Jones said the jury had a good chance on Thursday.

Memphis, Tenn – Dreier Day of the court proceedings against Quaverre Rogers, the suspect in the deadly Beale Street, marchstarted on Wednesday.

Quaverre Rogers was charged in April 2024 for murder and possession of forbidden weapons.

WednsDay began with statements from two MPD officials who examined the crime scene: Stephen Dewitt and Cecil Fowler, who described the tort -based evidence of the crime scene.

The next witness was a firearm underlook, whose statement by the medical examiner of Chief Medical, Dr. Marco Ross followed.

The detective Artie Taylor from Shelby County also said. He spoke of Rogers about telephone recordings from prison and telephone recordings were played in court.

All witnesses were presented by the public prosecutor. The defense will call witnesses tomorrow.

According to judge Jones, there is a good chance that the jury will think about Thursday, March 6th.

On the second day of the trial, both lawyers gave opening statements, and the victim's wife gave a testimony. A friend of the victim who was with him on the night of the shootout also said.
