Milwaukee – – Officials from the Milwaukee Health Department say that they are working to bring children back to a Milwaukee school full of lead dust.

They take strict deadlines for Milwaukee Public Schools to achieve this.

A new lead risk assessment for Trowbridge showed that the floors are a dust circle at each level. The school closed, so that the students were moved to the Wisconsin Conservatory of Lifelong Learning for the foreseeable future.

The health order for Trowbridge describes specific deadlines for MPS to correct the results. Health officers say that cleaning lead surfaces should be completed by March 12. A final cleaning should be completed by March 19, followed by indoor and external dangers that should be determined by June.
