Gators revolve around another statement

Tuscaloosa, ala. -Four nights a squad of Texas A&M came for his physicality, defensive skills and playing rock fights with a low score to Gainesville and received a one-sided 19-point loss. On Wednesday evening, the Florida Gators took to the streets to stand against Alabama, the fastest rated and the fastest defeated team in the country and this season was one of the best road victories in college basketball.

Yes, another.

Every style. At every place. Apparently everyone. The now healthy gators are high until the month of March and must now be spoken to the national championship as one of the top candidates.

“I think we are one of the best teams in America”, UF trainer Todd Golden After the fifth Gator, the seventh Crimson Tide has played a 99-94 defeat in its top 10 shooting of the Southastern Conference with a sold-out Coleman Coliseum. “To [be] That you have to take to the streets and hit good teams. ”

Sophomore Forward Alex CondonBack in the starting line-up, a career high of 27 points scored and scored 10 rebounds for his sixth double double of the season, while Senior Guard Walter Clayton Jr. Thrown 22 points, got five rebounds and scored eight templates in his 36 minutes, while he dictated the pace for a crime that shot almost 49 percent. Sophomore Forward Thomas Hagh Came from the bank for the first time in five games to score 12 points in the second half, including a few 3s. Wache in fifth year Alijah Martin 10 points and five rebounds in the first street victory of the program in the series since 2019.

Guard Alijah Martin Had a few striking darks in the game.

The Gators (26-4, 13-4), the winners of eight of their last nine, powdered the flood (23-7, 12-5) on the glass and sentenced them 50-35, including 16-10 at the end of the offensive on the way to 19 second chance. Florida did not achieve a field gate in the last 3:20, but 12 out of 15 free throws to put things away after Bama tried to extend the game by melting and UF. Eight days after 11 free throws in Georgia had missed a close loss in Georgia, the Gators were ready for the challenge this time. They were 21-against-29 on the night (72.4 percent).

This season was the second of UF's second over a top 10 team on the street (with the 90-81 defeat against No. 1 Auburn on February 8) and marked the first time in the program history, which the Gator put together two such victories in the same season. These statistics in itself and second place in the best league in the country (with the accompanying No. 2 seeds and double-bye in the second tournament of the next week)-should draw attention to the attention of the people who sow the NCAA tournament of the NCAA tournament.

If Florida, which corresponds to the second most victories of the regular season in the program history, has no appearance of a No. 1 seed goods, nobody does it.

“We think we did enough. We think we won games and showed who we are,” said Clayton, who made a career high series of 11 games without scoring at least 20 points. “If it happens, it happens. If this is not the case, we will still go into the tournament with the same mentality and try whoever is in front of us.”

Walter Clayton Jr. (1) made eight out of 20 shots with a couple of 3 to fit with its best eight templates.

Condon, who looked in his third game of February 11 (and a few more) in his third game in his third game, made the best of his first start in three weeks. He scored nine out of 16 shots with a few 3s over 30 minutes, got half of his rebounds at the end of the offensive end and only went four days after the 1: 5 route of 12 from the Free Surfine from Free Sausage LineTH-Ranked Texas A & M.

“I came to a hundred o'clock for two days,” said Condon about his time in the Freiwurflabor. “Just get my routine down.”

In the course of the routines, the gators showed a smooth, self -confident and legal approach for this trip. Despite eight sales in the first half, they never looked shaken or rattling in an enemy environment against a Tide team when they crushed in Tennessee No. 5 and this weekend they were on the way with the top and the competition to wrap the regular season. Bama urgently needed it.

“Give Florida a lot of recognition for the way they came in and played hard. They looked as if they had more energy than we were,” said Alabama coach Nate Oats after his third defeat against the Gators. “You obviously destroyed us on the glass, you have doubled us in points of the second chance and we have given up 26 quick points-half of your points came into the second chance or in the transition. So we have to be better. It doesn't matter what your game schedule is if you cannot return to defense and cannot get a rebound.”

The first half was back and forth, but basically a patient situation. UF brought a lead of 41-40 into the changing room, with Condon seting a physical, aggressive tone underneath with 12 points and five boards.

“The first small section I played, I just got my feet back under me and got used to starting again,” said Condon, who was a rusty 1-for-7 in Georgia last week and only got three rebounds. “Credit to our boys. I think you did a good job tonight to get the right places.”

Alex Condon (left) and the defense of Florida made an all-American Ward Mark Sears (1) Work for his 30 points with 24 field goal attempts.

The flood, which in his “Senior Night” by Point Guard and all-America candidate Mark Sears with 30 points from Point Guard and all-America candidate in the second half a 13:3 run of the Gators with 3s by Clayton and Hagh, plus an old 3-point game by Clayton and brought the count with an old 3-point game.

“Before the game, we talked about how they would do runs,” said Clayton. “You are a great shooting team, a great offensive team. You will have your runs, so we had to fight our way through these adversity and made ourselves.”

Then the gators had to withstand the inevitable Bama thrust to come back into play. Condon scored 13 points on a distance of seven minutes, with a few praise slams out on the edge of Clayton from Clayton, but an UF lead, which remained 5:55 at 14, began to shrink.

Uf was mainly ready for the free-Throw challenge, but the flood came again and again. Bama made six free throws in a row to get 1:25 on the left within five. Then Condon and Hagh made four directly out of the line to breathe a (temporary) breath. Bama put 3s of Labaron Philon (19 points) and Jarin Stevenson together for two free throws from Martin to pull within four, 94-90, with 20.5 seconds before the end.

Then Hagh made two more with 19.2 and after a Bama bucket it was backup junior Denzel Aberdeen Two decreases by 12.4. That was that.

Two huge and impressive quadrant 1, the victories against two outstanding, high -ranking opponents who could not be different, build résumés one after the other.

The common denominator in the two results was Florida's versatility.

“Obviously contrasting styles, [but] I Think Our Group Does A Really Good Job of Being Able to Execute Different Game Plans, “Said Golden, Who Praised His Collection of Poised Guards for Their Ability to PeneRate The Bama Defense, Eat Space And Make Reads (14 Assists Worth).” As Coaches, WE CAN DO CAN CAN TO TO TO TO Put Our Guys in good positions, but at the end of the day it's up to these guys to go out there and make plays. You did a wonderful job for 40 minutes tonight. “
