Chargers publish the five-time Pro-Bowler Joey Bosa in NFL Stunner

The chargers let go of one of their biggest stars.

Los Angeles released the defensive end of Joey Bosa on Wednesday evening after spending nine years with the team.

The 29 -year -old Bosa had a CAP goal of over 36 million US dollars for 2025, and according to Over the CAP, the chargers will save 25.36 million dollars this year.

In 2016, the state of Ohio's product immediately came across the stage in the entire Draft Pick and won the AP defensive player of the year after listening to 10.5 sacks and 41 duels.

What followed were five per bowl campaigns, including one in 2024, when the Chargers took the playoffs in Jim Harbaughs for the first year.

But injuries have held him back in recent years, including a broken hand in the training camp and an adhesive pollution that influenced his sciatic nerve.

In the last three seasons, he fit in 28 games from the age of 18.

“I have the feeling that I let my team down, that I missed these games,” Bosa told reporters about his injuries in October. “Leave everyone down and let the coaches down. Let the organization down. I let myself down and it is only shit how these years have gone in recent years. “

“I definitely have a low point to do with it, but it made me mentally stronger,” he added. “If you are in there, it sometimes feels hopeless and likes 'man, I don't want to do that.'”

Bosa, with 72 sacks, takes second place in Chargers' franchise history.
