Thriller from Strike and One Day Stars The stolen girl confirms the release date

Fans of Alex Dahl's Roman Playdate do not have to wait long for Disney Plus's screen adaptation, which has exchanged his title from the playdate to the stolen girl.

The streamer has confirmed that the Five Parter will arrive Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

The thriller has an outstanding line -up, led by strike star Holliday Grainger as Rebecca, Jim Sturgess (Hard Sun) and Denise Gough (Andor) as a married couple Fred and Elisa and a day of ambika mod as Selma.

You will be accompanied by Bronagh Waugh (the suspect) and Michael Workye (my lady Jane).

The series begins with the fact that Elisa takes over her daughter Lucia in Rebecca's seemingly perfect house after making friends with her daughter Josie.

But when she picks her up the next day, the three disappeared and what promises to be a tense watch.

“Since an urgent search unfolds throughout Europe, Elisa and her husband Fred are the subject of the police and the public examination,” teases the synopsis.

“Elisa's perfect family begins to untangle and the long -caught secrets come to light. Rebecca has taken Lucia for a certain reason.

“And if the spectators learn more about the confused life of these women, we will ask ourselves whether Rebecca was justified in the kidnapping of the little girl – and whether she could be better off.”

The stolen girl will stream on Disney Plus in 2025. You can register at Disney Plus for £ 4,99 per month or £ 89.90 per year.
