Man who was taken to the hospital in Dekalb County after burns after a house fire in Dekalb County in the early morning

Dekalb County, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man was taken to the hospital with fire injuries after a house fire early Thursday morning. The fire stuck the house.

According to officials, the fire broke out in a house at the Pinehurst Place in Decatur shortly after 1:00 a.m. Dozens of firefighters were quickly sent to the scene, where they worked to control the flames and prevent further damage.

At the scene, firefighting teams sprayed water on the structure and searched for hot spots. The crews were also able to use flashlights to determine the origin of the fire.

Currently, civil servants say that the preliminary investigation indicates that the fire may have started in the garage before spreading in the rest of the house.
