Co-ed Kids Flag Football football program comes to Wayne this spring

Wayne, PA – children in the Wayne area, who are interested in football without potential injuries, may want to register for a local flag football program.

In collaboration with Radnor Township, the Wayne Wildcats in cooperation with Radnor Township are organizing a co-ed flag football program.

Registration is now online for children in kindergarten to eighth grade from every surrounding community. The cost of participation is 200 US dollars. Registration ends at midnight on March 31.

The program is carried out from April 1 to May 31 and three divisions are included:

  • K-2 division-performing, qualified program with games on Thursdays.
  • 3-5 Division development skills, competition games on Sunday.
  • 6-8 Division-Middle School Competitive Play, games on Sunday.

If registration numbers allow this, the older one can be divided into two groups, a 6-7 and an independent degree 8 group.

The participants will make a team jersey to keep football equipment, structured exercises, organized games, a tournament at the end of the season at the end of the season.

The games take place on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to dark in the Dittmar Field. All divisions play with games in 30 -minute time windows on Monday evening. Three games are carried out on the field at the same time to maximize efficiency.

The exercises take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Dittmar Field. Each team receives special training per week. Practices are age -specific to focus on the development of skills.
